A Truism on Snow
Were the snowflakes that fell yesterday pretty? I suppose, but that doesn't mean I liked seeing them. This feels like the longest winter ever, and I don't think I've ever been more ready for spring. The good news? Things are looking up, with a high of 65 predicted tomorrow.

Very true. The rain yesterday I could handle, but not the snow.
Brrr! It's 45 and gloomy here, but supposed to be getting better. I'm glad it will be nice for your birthday! Maybe a picnic in the park with the girls would be nice.
Merlin came home yesterday and told me Des Moines had snow. I thought he was pulling my leg! All we had in Ames yesterday was rain -- all day! And we are further north than you. Go figure. Anyway, it was a gorgeous afternoon today.
