Smoked Meat?

If you are wondering what the title of this blog is all about, you should know that I am the proud owner of a Weber Smoky Mountain Cooker Smoker, and smoking meat is a hobby of mine. My love for good BBQ began at a young age, when my parents would occasionally take the family out to eat at a local establishment called Hickory Park.

It was there that I had my first real smoked beef sandwich, and the memory of that meal lingers with me still: a whole smoked beef sandwich (not a kids meal), fries, and a Cherry Coke (with a real cherry floating on top). If it's your birthday they will sing to you and give you your own Sundae. Mmmmmm....
